# Island Mountain AI Inc. ## About Forward-deployed AI engineering for regulated organizations. Island Mountain AI Inc. embeds on-site, learns how an organization works from the people who run it, finds where AI genuinely helps, then assembles whatever configuration serves that and trains the team to run it. Everything runs on the customer's premises, air-gap capable, so no data leaves the building. They own the hardware and the models outright: no token fees, no subscription, no per-seat charges. California built. ## The Sequence 1. Immerse: an intense period on-site with senior employees, managers, and founders. Not a discovery deck. 2. Discover: mapping the use-cases and applications already latent in the organization, most of which nobody has articulated yet. 3. Configure: Basho recommends the stack purchase for what Discovery turned up, then it is deployed and configured together, on-site. Sized with room to grow. 4. Onboard: he onboards the customer's team to workflows and agentic orchestration built for their vertical and for what they actually sell or do. A deployment nobody can run is a very expensive shelf. Discovery comes before configuration on purpose. Nobody can tell you what to buy before knowing what you would use it for. ## Configurations There is no product line, no price list, and no set hardware specifications. Island Mountain AI Inc. will configure and deploy any hardware and software combination a customer needs. There is no standing catalog and no standing recommendation, because the recommendation does not exist until Discovery has shown what the organization actually does. Scale is whatever the work calls for. A small business running a couple of desktop-class boxes and a few laptops is as real an answer as an enterprise estate on rack-mounted accelerators with adjacent data server racks. Neither is the upsell. Island Mountain also configures hardware it did not sell, including machines another integrator shipped and never set up. Models are any open-source, open-weight model, swapped as the frontier moves, so no lab holds a meter and nobody can deprecate the model a workflow depends on. The serving stack is hardened Linux with the open inference tooling the deployment calls for, fully air-gap capable, with the Woven Security and Governance Fabric woven through.
