Island Mountain sells no hardware line and no model. That makes us an easy partner for the people who do, and a useful one for anybody who lands work we're better equipped to deliver.
Most deployment shops are attached to a product. They lead with what they carry, and every conversation quietly bends toward that inventory. We don't have inventory. We run an on-site immersion and Discovery, find where AI genuinely helps, then install whatever serves it: two DGX Sparks and a few laptops, professional cards in a chassis, or H100 and H200 capacity with adjacent data racks.
That's an awkward business model in some ways. It's a very good basis for a partnership. If you sell hardware, we have no reason to steer around it. If you sell services, we're the part of the job you probably don't want to staff.
You have the relationship and the account. What you may not have is somebody who will sit with the client's senior staff for a week, work out where AI actually fits their operation, and then stand up an air-gapped system that survives an audit.
Gear gets sold into regulated buildings and then sits half-configured because nobody scoped the work around the people using it. That's the failure mode we exist to prevent, and it costs you the renewal as much as it costs the client.
We just retired our own product tiers, so building a partner program with tiers would be a poor joke. There's no gold level, no annual commitment, and no logo you have to earn.
What there is: a conversation about the accounts you're working, an honest read on whether we help or get in the way, and terms written for that specific arrangement. Some partnerships are one deployment. Some are a standing referral both directions. Both are fine.
We're a small shop and we run every deployment ourselves, which caps how many run at once. That's the real constraint on any partnership here, and we'd rather say it up front than discover it together in month three.
Tell us what the client does, what the compliance picture looks like, and where the work hurts. We'll tell you straight whether we're useful on it.
