By accessing or using the Island Mountain website (islandmountain.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and prospective customers.
Island Mountain is a Colorado company that designs, assembles, configures, tests, and sells on-premise AI inference server hardware. All systems are built in Colorado and shipped directly to purchasers.
Product specifications, configurations, and capabilities described on this website are provided for general informational purposes. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, specifications may change based on component availability, supplier changes, or hardware revisions.
Final specifications for any purchase are confirmed in writing in the purchase agreement between Island Mountain and the buyer. The purchase agreement, not the website, governs the terms of any sale.
All prices displayed on this website are approximate and subject to change without notice. GPU pricing is volatile and depends on market conditions at the time of order. Published price ranges reflect typical configurations at the time of publication.
Formal pricing is provided through individual quotes issued via the contact form or direct communication. A quote is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
A 50% deposit is required at order confirmation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of burn-in testing and prior to shipment. Payment terms are specified in the individual purchase agreement.
Island Mountain provides a one-year limited hardware warranty on all systems, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective components at Island Mountain's discretion.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, environmental conditions outside published operating specifications, power surges, acts of nature, or any use inconsistent with the system's intended purpose.
Individual GPU components carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 3-5 years from NVIDIA). Island Mountain will assist with manufacturer RMA processes for GPU failures within the manufacturer's warranty period.
Systems ship with pre-installed open-source software including DeepSeek V4-Flash and OpenWebUI. This software is provided under its respective open-source licenses. Island Mountain does not provide warranties for third-party open-source software. Updates and maintenance of pre-installed software are the responsibility of the purchaser after delivery.
Island Mountain builds hardware designed to support compliance with HIPAA, ITAR, CMMC, ABA Model Rule 1.6, and tribal data sovereignty requirements. However, purchasing hardware alone does not make an organization compliant with any regulation.
Compliance depends on the purchaser's policies, procedures, physical security, network configuration, access controls, and operational practices. Island Mountain does not provide legal advice, compliance consulting, or certification services. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring their use of the hardware meets applicable regulatory requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Island Mountain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Island Mountain's total liability for any claim arising from a product purchase shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of this website shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Colorado.
